Homemade B-B-Q Sauce

I got this recipe from a neighbor a few years ago and I make it all the time. It's a very quick and simple B-B-Q sauce.

1/2 C Brown Sugar
1T. Minced Onion (dried or fresh)
3T. Granulated Sugar
1 C. Ketchup
1/4 C. Worcestershire Sauce

Mix all ingredients together in a sauce pan and simmer for 15 minutes. Store in the refrigerator.

Tips:
~ Rinse out the ketchup bottle and pour the cooled B-B-Q sauce into it. Make sure you mark the bottle with it's contents.

I do similar only I add some molassas too. I'd add a dash of liquid smoke if I had in in the fridge. Love making this myself. I am saving your recipe because mine is just a dump & taste kind of thing, really hard to share with others! Great Make it yourself!

Smart tip about the ketchup bottle. BBQ is one of those things I usually buy then remember how easy it really is and wonder why I buy it. I should make up a big batch soon!

Well, I came home to start dinner and I didnt have any bbq sauce. I remembered this and checked it out. I didnt have any brown sugar so I used syrup. I added a shake of this and a pinch of that. Taste pretty good. Im gonna grill my pork chops later so I will let you know how things turned out.
