What things are you cutting out of your budget to compensate for higher gas prices?
We have cut out our weekly chicken dinner after church. Mike and I would drive into Barberton and pick up chicken dinners for everyone. Not only has the gas gone up, but the price of the meals has, too. We are also on the verge of having to buy more than one dinner. The boys are getting older and one dinner is just enough to whet our appetites now.

We have always driven about an hour away to our favorite park and ice cream shop. We have cut that out this summer so far-we may do it once rather than once every few weeks.
We are also trying to find more free things to do rather than going places wich require entrance fees.

I generally do grocery shopping, errands, etc. once per week. I am now trying to cut that back to once every two weeks. We are blessed in that we have lived debt free for several years so, the higher consumer costs haven't effected us as grately as other families in our area.
